I presume because the latest version drivers dont support the mining cards. I had to use 416.34 as the newest version of driver from nvidia wouldnt install with my.

The driver supplied in the original thread is for the P106 only the files are not modified for the P104.Nvidia P102-100 5GB super 50MH/s mining card preview.
